Description

We left Cusco very early in the morning heading to Mollepata, where we enjoyed breakfast before continuing towards Soraypampa.

Itinerary

The starting point of our hike. The climb to the Humantay Lagoon is challenging but rewarding, taking us through mountainous landscapes with panoramic views of the Andes. The hike takes about 2 hours, ascending steep and rocky trails.

Upon reaching the lagoon, we are impressed by its turquoise waters, fed by the glaciers of the Humantay snow-capped mountain. We will have time to rest, take pictures and enjoy the scenery before beginning our descent towards Soraypampa. On the way back to Cusco, we will enjoy a comforting lunch in Mollepata, arriving in Cusco at sunset.
